Sofia Falkner’s practice focuses on Swedish- and EU antitrust and competition law. She has broad international and domestic experience in cartel- and other competition investigations, dominance issues, merger control and distribution arrangements. She also has experience of regulatory and other sector specific matters in relation to pharmaceuticals- and MedTech. Following the new entering into force of new regulations, she also works regularly on matters concerning Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) and the new Swedish FDI-system. Sofia is recommended and has been ranked as a ‘Rising Star’ in the field of EU- and competition law by Legal 500 for five consecutive years.

Kiti Karvinen specialises in EU and Finnish competition law. Kiti has almost 15 years of experience in advising clients on a wide range of issues relating to competition law across a variety of business sectors, and complex merger control proceedings in particular. Her specialities are competition law issues related to joint ventures between competitors, abuse of dominance, and mergers and acquisitions. She also advised clients in foreign direct investment processes.

In addition to her Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki, she holds a postgraduate diploma in EU Competition Law at the King’s College in London. Kiti is a well-recognised lecturer at the Finnish universities and is a member of competition law expertise group of the Finnish Bar Association and a board member of the Finnish Competition Law Association.
