Mary is a dispute resolution partner at Kingsley Napley. She is a commercial litigator with a specialism in civil fraud and asset tracing. She acts for individuals, companies, insolvency practitioners and other law firms. Mary can supervise your search order, loves a freezing injunction and in recent years has developed expertise in cases involving bribery. People say nice things about her in the directories including one comment which compared her to a dog. Mary really needs a new photo as she has much more grey hair now.
George is a highly regarded senior junior specialising in commercial law. For many years, he has been recognised in the directories for his “outstanding” all round ability as a commercial barrister. He is "a very skilful advocate" and “exceptional” on paper, with an “excellent analytical brain” which he combines with a style that is “very personable and user-friendly”.
Sean McGuiness is an Investment Manager based in Omni Bridgeway’s London office where he is responsible for originating cases, due diligence, the management of funded cases in EMEA and advancing the company’s judgment enforcement initiatives.
Prior to joining Omni Bridgeway in 2023, Sean was Head of Commercial Litigation and Arbitration at a leading London-based funder. Sean has funded claims and portfolios arising from large scale insolvencies, offshore litigation and recovery portfolios, general commercial litigation and shareholder claims under the FSMA regime.
Before joining the funding industry, Sean worked in the London office of DLA Piper for ten years, with a broad practice advising on complex cross-border litigation, international arbitration, fraud, shareholder disputes and enforcement. Sean has particular expertise in the financial services, energy and infrastructure and natural resources sectors, and broad expertise across the globe with particular experience in offshore jurisdictions, Europe and Africa.
Sean is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales (2013) and an Attorney at Law in Texas (2019). Sean holds an LLB in Law from the London School of Economics.
Laure-Hélène Gaicio-Fievez is a partner at BSP and focuses on complex real estate, commercial, corporate and financial disputes.
Laure-Hélène has been recognized as a “next generation partner” having strong reputation in cross-border litigation. She is considered by her clients as being creative and efficient. Laure-Hélène indeed has extensive experience in all forms of international and domestic dispute resolution with a particular focus on commercial, corporate, financial, fund and real estate matters. She assists her clients through the entire process, from pre-litigation to the enforcement of the decision obtained. She is a member of the IFG (International Fraud Group). In addition, she has experience in real estate and commercial contracts, drafting and negotiating a number of complex agreements.
Anna is counsel in Ogier's Cayman law Dispute Resolution team. A specialist in international commercial litigation and arbitration in the corporate and funds fields, Anna has particular expertise in high value contractual disputes, directors' and shareholders' disputes, enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, professional negligence disputes and asset recovery actions.
Andrew is an adept commercial litigator with experience across a wide range of high-value civil fraud and commercial disputes.
With a recent focus on complex civil fraud proceedings – covering both substantive trials, foreign enforcement of judgments and applications for urgent interim relief – Andrew’s career has also seen him work on challenging commercial disputes, banking, fraud and regulatory investigations and anti-money laundering matters.
