Maria Mulla has a busy commercial chancery litigation practice with a particular emphasis on commercial disputes (domestic and international), civil fraud, joint venture disputes, all aspects of company and partnership law (shareholder remedies, director duties, derivative claims, corporate governance, CSR obligations), and corporate and personal insolvency.

Maria is registered in Part II of the Dubai International Financial Centre’s Register of Legal Practitioners and is presently instructed on several high value matters proceeding in the DIFC.

Maria also has a passion for helping individuals where there is a public interest element to their case. Maria is proud to be representing a large number of women in their fight for accountability and justice against Harrods.

Lucy Colter is a commercial barrister specialising in civil fraud, construction and offshore litigation. 

She has worked on some of the biggest recent cases in the English Commercial Court and is a highly experienced advocate. Lucy’s offshore and international practice involves enforcement issues, financial and shareholder disputes and sanctions issues. Ranked as a leading junior in the legal directories, Lucy is described as “perfect with clients”,  “destined to be one of the stars of the English Bar”, and having "a natural intuition for what will and what will not work in the court room." 

Louise is Partner in Carey Olsen's dispute resolution team and an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey.  Louise specialises in contentious and semi-contentious trust matters.  Louise acts for trustees and beneficiaries in high value trust disputes, including breach of trust proceedings arising out of investment losses, proceedings challenging the validity of a protector's decision to remove a trustee, and contested proceedings relating to the removal of a protector.  Louise also advises on applications for administrative directions, applications for relief on the grounds of mistake, and rectification of trust instruments.  The work that Louise is involved in often has multi-jurisdictional aspects and involves assets located in, and companies and trusts administered out of, foreign jurisdictions.    

Sandie is a Guernsey Advocate with extensive experience in commercial and financial dispute resolution, especially contentious trusts, restructuring, insolvency, and regulatory matters. She regularly advises in connection with complex and high value international matters with multi-jurisdictional elements, including acting on the restructuring of Ocean Rig, one of the highest value restructurings on record, during a secondment to Ogier's Cayman office.
