Over the last 10 years, digital assets have influenced clients going through their divorces. As new types of assets are emerging, so are the processes for divorce. Whether it is new ways to hide assets, new sources of income or online harassment issues, the actual process for divorce must adapt itself to the digital revolution.

By trade Emma is a Wealth Manager and has been supporting clients at RBC Brewin Dolphin for 9 years. Emma is passionate about increasing financial literacy across the population by providing financial education, guidance, and expertise to employees. Educational sessions have been created to speak to employees at every stage of their life and career journey, as well as more topical challenges such as the cost-of-living crisis.
When it comes to providing advice, Emma works with clients to understand their aims and aspirations, working to understand where they are and where they want to be. For many this is saving for a life event, planning for retirement, or safeguarding assets for future generations. Emma works closely with clients to build a plan on how best to achieve these goals.
Andrew specialises in reputation management. His work covers all aspects of media law, including defamation, confidence, privacy, harassment, data protection and intellectual property rights. His background as a commercial litigator means that he also has considerable expertise in high value disputes and cases, particularly those involving civil fraud and cybersecurity.
The nature of Andrew’s work is often confidential, however recent reported cases include Max Mosley v Google Inc and Hourani v Thomson & others. He has particular expertise in the evolving field of cyber and privacy law, representing victims of highly sophisticated cyber-attacks and privacy intrusions in some of the most significant and ground-breaking cases in this jurisdiction. Andrew also has considerable recent experience in areas relating to the protection, regulation and disclosure of information, including in the context of the GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and claims under the Norwich Pharmacal jurisdiction.
Alex is a senior associate in the divorce and family team.
He advises clients on all aspects of family law including divorce and civil partnership dissolution, financial disputes, cohabitation, children matters and pre and postnuptial agreements. He has particular experience in dealing with complex financial disputes as well as children matters, including those involving international relocation.
