I am a Client Services Director in the Jersey office.  Having qualified as a non-practising Barrister and Solicitor of England and Wales I spent five years in private practice in both England and Jersey.

Thereafter I moved into the offshore finance industry in 2009, completing the STEP diploma in International Offshore Administration.  My legal background enables me to specialise in the administration of contentious, complex and / or distressed offshore structures, in particular those involved in litigation or under criminal or tax investigation. 

I am the Managing Director of the Accuro Swiss Office. After practising as a Private Client/Tax Solicitor in the City of London, I moved to Geneva 16 years ago and joined Accuro, initially as legal counsel.

I actively participate in the development of the Swiss business and work with international families with complex trust and fiduciary needs. A fluent Russian, French and English speaker, I am now learning Italian to add to the array of languages we speak in the office.

Sarah Jane advises on all areas of family law, with a particular emphasis on the financial claims that arise on divorce and applications to the English Court for financial settlement following an overseas divorce. She has a growing practice in wealth protection via nuptial and cohabitation agreements and she also advises on all private children law matters, from disputes about parental arrangements and financial claims to the relocation of children across jurisdictions. Sarah Jane has a great deal of experience in complex cases concerning substantial family wealth and those with an international element, as well as more standard domestic cases. Sarah Jane was listed in the eprivateclient 35 under 35 list in 2015 and appears in the 2018 Citywealth Leaders List (having been shortlisted in Citywealth’s Future Leaders awards in 2017). She was also listed in Legal 500 as a New Generation Lawyer in both 2017 and 2018, and then as a Next Generation Partner in 2019. She has recently been quoted in the Times, Financial Times and Huffington Post on recent family law issues.

Carlos joined Rothschild & Co in 2012 from Investec Bank, where he was the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Portfolio Management between 2010 and 2012.

From 2005 to 2010, Carlos worked for UBS AG as Head of Investment Strategy and Portfolio Construction (London) and as Head of Asset Allocation for discretionary portfolios (Zurich).
Between 2000 and 2005, Carlos worked for Goldman Sachs (London) advising institutional investors, first as an Equity Strategist and then as the co head of the Tactical Asset Allocation Advisory team.

Carlos has a Masters in Science and a Doctorate degree in Interdisciplinary Mathematics from the University of Warwick (England) in addition to two first degrees from the National University of Mexico, one in Actuarial Sciences and one in Mathematics.

Carlos is member of the Responsible Investment Committee and the Balance & Inclusion Committee for the Rothschild & Co group and regularly publishes articles or interviews in local and international newspapers and social networks.
