Michael heads up Standard Bank’s fiduciary offering in Jersey. They are an award winning team that specialises in the establishment and administration of complex and bespoke offshore fiduciary structures for ultra high net worth international families, with a specific focus on those with a UK residence and those connected to Africa by way of residence, domicile or investment. The families they work with frequently have a global footprint.

Sanjvee advises ultra high net worth / high net worth individuals and families on their global estate, succession and tax planning affairs. From a geographic perspective, Sanjvee’s practice is very diverse as it includes UK resident clients who may or may not be domiciled in the UK and international families originating from the Middle East, Europe, Africa or Asia, who are likely to have family members living and/or assets located in a number of countries. Many of Sanjvee’s clients also have US tax connections.

Given the truly international nature of Sanjvee’s practice, she is regularly advising on and handling complex cross-border tax, succession and estate planning matters. This often includes obtaining and co-ordinating all of the cross-border aspects for clients, including the implementation of optimal cross-border solutions.

Catherine leads Burges Salmon’s philanthropy team and is a partner in the firm’s private client team.

Catherine specialises in international tax, trusts and estate planning advice for a wide range of clients, from high net worth individuals to leading private banks and other financial institutions. Catherine has a particular focus on advising trust companies on likely risk areas, clients with a South African connection and philanthropy.

Chris leads Melville Douglas’s International Portfolio Management team. Having worked in the investment industry in senior roles for over 32 years, he has in-depth experience in understanding clients’ objectives and delivering tailored solutions. Chris joined Standard Bank in 1990 and is a Chartered Wealth Manager, Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the Private Client Investment Advice and Management Certificate.
