Keidan Harrison
Luke co-founded Keidan Harrison LLP in May 2020, having formerly led a substantial and esteemed team at a mid-sized firm.
He is recognised by the leading legal directories as a “very commercial litigator with a real eye for detail” and “especially adept at insolvency-related commercial disputes” (Chambers 2019).
Luke’s practice covers a broad spectrum of commercial disputes, but he has particular expertise in contentious insolvency and restructuring advisory, fraud and asset recovery, banking and financial services, company and partnership, professional negligence claims and technology disputes. He also has substantial expertise in media, data protection and defamation claims. Luke has acted for large corporates as well as for small- to medium-sized enterprises and office holders (directors, trustees and insolvency practitioners). He works across all sectors, but has particular experience in recruitment, litigation funding, alternative lending, technology, construction and private equity.

Mrs Justice Joanna Smith was called to the Bar in 1990. She was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2009, and a Deputy High Court Judge in 2017. She became a Judge of the High Court, assigned to the Chancery Division, in 2021. She also sits in the Technology and Construction Court and the Patents Court. She has been the Chair of the Tribunal Procedure Committee since 2020.

David has a commercial and chancery practice with a particular focus on disputes involving complex financial or quantum issues. He is often involved in large commercial matters, where he brings a rigorous and imaginative approach to finding the arguments most likely to prevail.

Keidan Harrison
Alex is an associate at Keidan Harrison LLP, having joined the firm in April 2021. Prior to joining Keidan Harrison LLP, Alex was an associate at London firm Elborne Mitchell LLP, an established specialist insurance practice which he joined upon his qualification as a solicitor in June 2019.
Alex’s experience to date includes a variety of significant commercial and insolvency disputes, often with an international element. He acts for a range of clients including insurance brokers, HNW individuals, property developers, manager owned businesses and large corporates. His experience across business sectors means he has an appreciation of the varied commercial objectives clients may have.
Most of Alex’s work relates to litigation in the High Court and Court of Appeal. Alex is also familiar with alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and without-prejudice discussions.
Alex has lived and worked abroad (China and Israel) and brings a sound understanding of different cultures and business environments to his practice.
